Projectors, the same way as Tv’s have come a long way. They are getting smaller and smaller with higher brightness and better contract ratio. One company who are making such projectors is called AAXA Technologies. One of their latest product is a portable 720p Led projector. Now Ive actually used a few of these portable gadgets but none have impressed me so far. Due to the portability of these projectors, one of compromise that has to be made is its lumens. The best portable one so far in my personal experience has been Optoma Pico 301. With its 50 lumens it was a decent experience watching a movie on a 60” screen( Can go up to 120″) This is what one expects from such a small machine.

I recently got a Lumia 920 and found it to be one of the best Windows Phone devices I have used. The only complaint I had was the lack of expandable memory, which is why I preordered the Samsung Ativ S.

Samsung Ativ S was the 1st Windows 8 device announced and launched on the 14th of December 2012 in the UK. Today it finally arrived at my door step. At first glance you’d think the phone is made of aluminum, it’s brushed and coated plastic which makes it look that way, and it does look good.

It was 2011 when Angry Birds was released for the IOS. I really doubt that anyone at that time thought this game would one day become as popular as it is today. Currently it has 5 titles on most popular platforms. Not just this but it has become a billion dollar franchise with a variety of different products and accessories.

A new announcement has just come from Rovio. The Angry Birds movie will hit theaters in 2016. It would be interesting to see the story of how the birds avenged the pigs. John Cohen(Despicable me) will be overseeing the movie funded by Rovio. Another great name associated with the movie is David Maisel(Producer Iron Man) who will be the executive producer.

The release is a long long…long time away but teasers and trailers should come up which would give us a better idea about what the movie would be about. Lets wait and see.

I havent used a Blackberry in years now. I just find that with Android and IOS around, using a blackberry for me is pointless. Ofcourse there are those who are blackberry addicts. They’ll be excited to know that RIM’s upcoming L-Series BlackBerry’s pictures have leaked. In all fairness, the device looks good. Gone is the physical keypad(which was one of the main reasons for people to stick to a blackberry). From the leaked images we can see an 1800 mAh and a microSD card slot. The device looks great and I myself am actually looking forward to its release.

I recently gave up my Iphone and shifted to Windows Phone 8 only because I wanted a change from the usual OS. I picked up the Lumia 920 a few days back and havent really looked back because its a refreshing change.

My Iphone and Itunes were a perfect match. I had all my videos, playlists and photos neatly organized and flawlessly synced. Shifting to Windows Phone 8 I knew syncing was going to be an issue. To my surprise all was not lost.

Nokia Lumia 920 and Apple Iphone 5 both have fantastic camera’s, infact one of the best on a phone. Both offer an 8 MP, 3264 x 2448 pixels camera but its not the megapixels alone which makes the difference. I decided to go head to head with these 2 great devices so see which practically offers better results.

Leaked images apparently of the forthcoming iPhone 5S have just appeared online and coincides with earlier reports about  iPhone 5S production date which is making everyone wonder that this could actually be the real thing.

The original images were publicized Etrade Supply and looks to be the rear housing on the assembly line.

It was only yesterday that we marked the 20th birthday of the SMS. For the last couple of years the SMS has been under attack by a number of different apps such as Whatsapp, Beejive, BBM and so on. Today another strong contender enters the battlefield.

Facebook today has announced that its messenger app for Android will no longer require a Facebook account to sign up.
