Galaxy Note 2 brief review

by TGN

I finally got my hands on the Note 2 today. Let me tell you from now that this device is unbelievably fast.

It says Samsung all over. Infact it is extremely similar to the Samsung Galaxy S3. Ofcourse the Note 2 offers a massive 5.5 inch screen but at the same time it is only 9.4mm thin which makes it fit easily in your pocket. For me, and I think a lot of people will agree to this, it is to big to use as a phone(I use it as a tablet) but for texting, watching videos, browsing etc this is the best device out there. Honestly it doesn’t get any better than this.

A 5.5 inch 16:9 super Amoled screen. I have used a lot of samsung phones but none offer this level of quality. Samsung has outdone themselves in this area. This is not just the largest phone screen BUT undoubtedly the best.

Android 41. Jelly Bean, 1.6 Ghz Quad Core processor with 2GB Ram and 16GB internal with a microsd card(Up to 64GB) . WOW. This is THE highest specs on a phone at the moment. This thing is like a Maserati on steroids. Ofcourse the usual HDMI via MHL, bluetooth, A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot etc are all there as well.

8 MP, 3264×2448 pixels, autofocus, LED flash while video is 1080P@30 fps. The results are simply fantastic.

Li-Ion 3100 mAh. I still have to use it for a few days to tell you how it racks up against other devices.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is not just another device but it is THE device to have. Forget the SGS3 or even the Iphone5. This beats them hands down. The only drawback I have had is the absence of *Multi window which is a real shame however Samsung has confirmed it would be added in weeks to come via an OTA.

As promised by Samsung Multi window is not available.
