Samsung Galaxy S4 Active

by TGN

Screen Shot 2013-07-01 at 3.48.09 PMWhile Im not the biggest fan of the Samsung Galaxy series of smartphones(due to their plastic feel),I have to admit that whats under the hood is remarkable. The Samsung Galaxy S4 is one of the most powerful devices out there today and their new varient has taken it a step further(of Course there have been water and dust resistant phones such as the Xperia Z and Active). Meet the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active.

A water and dust resistant device which can survive submerged underwater for up to 30 minutes. Not just this but you also get an “aqua mode” settings for the camera which will improve on all the underwater shots you take. Specs are pretty similar to the SGS4 (Including having a removable battery and expandable storage)with the exception of the camera which has come down from 13MP to 8MP and the Super AMOLED screen switched with an LCD screen(1080p display with 443ppi). The camera’s reduction of the megapixels might disappoint some but seasoned photographers will know that its not the mega pixels that matter. In fact on a standard phone screen or even a print out you will not be able to tell the difference.
